The Youth Association for Human Rights Promotion and Development (AJPRODHO–JIJUKIRWA) works to improve the lives of youth, women, and children in Rwanda through human rights promotion, advocacy, and economic empowerment.
Founded in 1996 in response to the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, AJPRODHO was created to ensure that future generations are protected from manipulation and injustice.
Our programmatic interventions focus on advancing human rights, strengthening governance, empowering youth economically, addressing climate challenges, driving policy research and advocacy, and building institutional capacity for sustainable impact.
We contribute towards equitable access to justice for children and youth through enhancing mechanisms to promote and protect Human Rights.
