AJPRODHO–JIJUKIRWA Joins Gatsibo District to Fight GBV
As part of ongoing efforts to combat gender-based violence (GBV) through community awareness, the Youth Association for Human Rights Promotion and Development (AJPRODHO–JIJUKIRWA) joined Gatsibo District in delivering key messages during a community service Umuganda activity held in Kiramuruzi Sector.
The event brought together local residents in a spirit of collective responsibility and solidarity, providing a valuable platform to raise awareness on the prevention and response to gender-based violence and human trafficking.

Through direct community engagement, participants were encouraged to take an active role in promoting safety, dignity, and respect within their households and communities.
The campaign was guided by the theme, “Let’s Build a Violence-Free Family,” emphasizing the importance of creating safe and supportive environments where all individuals can thrive free from violence and exploitation.
AJPRODHO–JIJUKIRWA remains committed to working hand in hand with local authorities and communities to strengthen awareness, promote human rights, and contribute to building a more inclusive and violence-free society in Rwanda.
