As part of ongoing efforts to combat gender-based violence (GBV) through community awareness, the Youth Association for Human Rights Promotion and Development (AJPRODHO–JIJUKIRWA) joined Gatsibo District in delivering key messages during a community service Umuganda activity held in Kiramuruzi Sector.
The event brought together local residents in a spirit of collective responsibility and solidarity, providing a valuable platform to raise awareness on the prevention and response to gender-based violence and human trafficking.
Through direct community engagement, participants were encouraged to take an active role in promoting safety, dignity, and respect within their households and communities.
