Advancing Workplace Learning in Rwanda: Insights from the 2nd Quarterly Technical Consultative Meeting
On 14th November, the Youth Association for Human Rights Promotion and Development (AJPRODHO–JIJUKIRWA) convened its second quarterly meeting with the Technical Consultative Committee, bringing together key stakeholders to advance the Workplace Learning (WPL) agenda in Rwanda.
The meeting provided an important platform for participants to review and share valuable inputs on the developed policy briefs aimed at strengthening the Workplace Learning system. These discussions were instrumental in refining strategic priorities and ensuring that the proposed interventions are responsive to the current needs of both learners and the labor market.
Significantly, the meeting marked the launch of the advocacy roadmap, setting a clear path for coordinated actions to promote effective and sustainable Workplace Learning across the country. This milestone underscores the collective commitment of all stakeholders to drive meaningful reforms in skills development.
Civil society organizations (CSOs), alongside public and private sector partners, continue to work collaboratively to enhance the WPL system in alignment with the National Employment Strategy. This partnership-driven approach reflects a shared vision of equipping individuals with practical, industry-relevant skills and improving employment outcomes nationwide.

AJPRODHO–JIJUKIRWA remains dedicated to fostering dialogue, strengthening partnerships, and supporting policy initiatives that contribute to a more inclusive, efficient, and high-quality Workplace Learning ecosystem in Rwanda.
